Tamkang University is scheduled to host The Fourth Tamkang World Forum for Youth Leaders from March 8 through 13, 2017. The forum is designed for both undergraduate and master degree students and the theme of the forum will be “Prospects for the World: Meeting Challenges with Vision.” The discussions are expected to be on such questions as peace, democracy, governance, economy, ecology, environment, culture, society and globalization. English will be the working language of the forum.
Oral presentations of essays will be scheduled on March 9 and the morning of March 10. The group tours to cultural and scenic sites will be arranged from March 10 to 12.
Last year, we hosted the Third Tamkang World Forum for Youth Leaders with quite good success. 18 students from foreign countries took part in the forum. Akita International University, Josai University, Kindai University, Kyushu University and Waseda University in Japan, Dankook University, Kyung Hee University in Korea, Bangkok University in Thailand, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Kazakhstan, Moscow State University in Russia, Oxford University in UK, and Queensland University of Technology in Australia sent students to deliver presentations.
Now, we take great pleasure in inviting about students from our partner universities and other worldly-renowned universities to the forum. As before, we shall select 10 students from our university to make presentations at the forum.
