Tamsui Scenery in detail

Fisherman's Wharf

Fisherman's Wharf is possibly the most well-known wharf in Taiwan. It is known for its fresh seafood and spectacular sunsets. Each part of the wharf is connected by a wooden boardwalk 320 meters long and 10 meters wide. As you amble along the boardwalk, you'll see the sun glinting off the water's surface; pass restaurants with open-air seating and live bands; see street performers and buskers; and pass artists painting people's portraits. You can even walk along "Lover's Bridge", but be sure not to cross the bridge with your lover, as this is said to result in inevitable heartbreak. Ignore such warnings at your own peril!
How to get there
Take a boat directly to Fisherman's Wharf from the Tamsui Riverside.
