Kuanyin Mountain
Kuanyin Mountain gets its name from the Buddhist goddess of compassion, Guanyin (or "Kuan Yin", depending on the transliteration system being applied). It's named after the goddess of compassion because it's said that the shape of the mountain looks like the goddess Guanyin lying down. The mountain is 616 meters high and is located on the bank opposite the Tamsui Riverside.
Kuanyin Mountain has a number of hiking trails which can be reached by taking a boat from the Tamsui Riverside to the opposite bank, known as Bali.
How to get there
