Tamsui Culture in detail

Located beside Chungliehtzu (the Martyrs’ Shrine), Huwei Battery Park was originally a part of the Tamsui Golf Course.

That part was later reclaimed by the New Taipei City Government and was rebuilt into a park. There are extensive meadows in the park, which is surrounded by two cross-tie trails.

Locals often come here for a stroll or to play every morning and evening.

There is also another newly built park by Road No.
9 to provide citizens a space to relax and exercise.
