Waziwei Nature Conservation Area
Waziwei Nature Conservation Area is the northernmost area that has a prevalent distribution of mangroves. The intertidal wetland terrain at where the river meets the sea has nurtured a unique ecological landscape. Aside from the more frequently seen organisms such as fiddler crabs and mudskippers, special viviparous Kandelia plants further form a dense mangrove that attracts various bird species to reside here. April, May, August and September are the best months for birdwatching.
